RENEWING YOUR TEXAS NOTARY COMMISSION

COMMISSION RENEWAL SERVICE
Use our free notary public renewal reminder service to ensure that your Texas notary public commission is continued without a lapse in certification. Simply fill out the linked notary applicant questionnaire form and return it to Atkinson Bros. Agency electronically, by fax, or by mail. We will contact you by mail when it is time to renew your commission. There is no additional fee for this renewal reminder service.

QUALIFICATIONS
You must be:

a legal resident of the State of Texas (US citizenship is not required)
of good moral character

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RENEWING A NOTARY PUBLIC COMMISSION
Within four months of the expiration of your current commission, fill out the Texas State Notary Application and return it to Atkinson Bros. Agency along with your payment. The form must be printed and signed at the bottom of the page, then returned to Atkinson Bros. Agency by mail. The form you return to us must be an original, printed copy with your signature.

Upon receipt, we will complete your bond renewal and submit your application for commission renewal directly to the Secretary of State. Your commission will be renewed and you will receive the certification and supplies needed to continue notary services for the next four years. If application is received before 90 days prior to your expression date, we will hold the application until it is time to submit. If application is received 5 days prior or after your expiration date a new commission date will be established buy the Texas Secretary of State.
